Endorsements

Mike Vance & Punk Carter

Out looking at horses and shopping for cattle today, I was honored to recieve an endorsement from one of the premiere horsemen of North Texas, Mr. Punk Carter.

I met Punk many years ago during the filming of the TV show “Dallas” starring Larry Hagman as J.R. among others. A lot of the show was filmed on Punk Carters property.

Punk Carter is definitely an authority on horses and has probabbly forgotten more about horses, particularly cutting horses, than I could ever in my life, hope to know. If you’re into horses and live in Collin County you probably know or have heard of Punk Carter.

It was really great seeing him again after all these years and him offering his endorsement to my campaign for Collin County Constable Pct 1 was an incredible honor!

Thank you Punk!

Testimonies

I’m asking everyone to support Mike Vance for Collin County Constable Pct. 1 in the 2020 election. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him during my law enforcement career.  Mike is an honest and very hard working Law Enforcement Officer.  I have trusted him for many years in some high profile Law Enforcement operations.  I hope you as voters will as well.

Retired Collin County Sheriff’s Office
Former President of the Texas Jail Association

I am extremely excited to announce that my friend, Mike Vance is running for Collin County Constable Pct.1 in the up-coming 2020 election.  I have known Mike for 26 of his 34 1/2 years service with the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.  I first met Mike at the Collin County Sheriff’s Office when he was my patrol Lieutenant.  In that time Mike mentored and educated me in the field of Law Enforcement.  I learned first hand that police work was much more than what the public generally believes the role of a Deputy is.  Mike taught me that the fair and impartial treatment and service to the community was just as important as anything else that was required and expected in the position of being a Texas Peace Officer

I know Mike will serve the community well as the Collin County Constable in Pct. 1 and he has my full support.  I’m asking that you give him your full support and your vote on election day 2020 and elect him to the office of Collin County Constable Pct. 1

Greg Martin
Former Commander
Collin County Sheriff’s Office

I’ve worked with Mike Vance for over 20 years at the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.  I grin when I remember that he made me sign an agreement that he would not be responsible for my actions while he was my training officer once I entered into the CID unit (Criminal Investigation Division) with the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.  Of course he was just funning with me because just the opposite is true.  Mike Vance is the kind of guy that would have fallen on the sword (so to speak) for me and still would today.  I have no doubt that Mike Vance will be a hard working servant for the citizens of Collin County as their Collin County Constable in Pct. 1…….VOTE VANCE!

Crimes Against Children Investigator

I have known Mike Vance for about 20 years.  I met Mike while working at the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.  He was both my Patrol Lieutenant and my Narcotics Lieutenant and we worked many years together as Criminal Investigators.  Mike Vance is an excellent Law Enforcement Officer, dedicated to his job and Mike Vance has a big heart.  I believe Mike Vance is the best choice for Collin County Constable Pct. 1.  Please support and vote for Mike Vance for Collin County Constable Pct. 1 in the up-coming 2020 elections.

Mike Vance has been an integral part of the Collin County Sheriff’s Office for over thirty years and I have had the pleasure of working with him on numerous occasions.  Mr. Vance has demonstrated outstanding professional skills and displayed well-oriented professional knowledge while tirelessly serving the citizens of Collin County.

Mr. Vance has always demonstrated consensus building in his working relationships and is committed to the successful achievement of mission objectives.  However, Mr. Vance’s greatest attributes are his abundant concern for the safety of the public and the natural empathy he has for every member of the community who has ever been victimized by crime.  I wholeheartedly give Mr. Vance my highest endorsement as he vies to become the Collin County Constable for Precinct 1.

Glenn Meeks
Retired Law Enforcement Official
and longtime Collin County Resident

Mike Vance is a good man through and through. I will never forget how kind and compassionate he was after the death of my husband many years ago.  Mike was very professional yet he took the time to comfort me in that difficult time.  I felt God working through Mike the first time I met him.  Mike vance will make a great Constable as and he will honor Collin County.  Please elect Mike Vance for Collin County Constable Pct. 1 in the 2020 elections!

Lisa Puttcamp Morris
Long Time Collin County Resident

I fully support and endorse Mike Vance for Collin County Constable Precinct 1.  Looking forward to having a Christian Constable at Precinct 1 with the knowledge, experience and professionalism that is desperately needed.

Chief Deputy Constable Matt Carpenter

I’ve known Mike for more years than I remember in Law Enforcement.  His integrity, honesty, and fairness are traits that will serve you well. Vote for Mike Vance for Collin County Constable Pct. 1!
